Ever since I had been on lowest point on western hemisphere (Badwater in the Death Valley), I wanted to see the Dead Sea - which is the lowest place on earth (approx 400m below sea level). Dead Sea is unique - making its beaches the lowest dry points on earth.
We started from Jerusalem after mid-day on a very very hot day - it was aleady late, so, we could not make it for Masada, or Dead Sea Scroll or, En Gedi (may be next time :-). But, we soaked up nice and warm in the Dead Sea in late afternoon.
